I can still hear Ethel Merman belting out this classic from the musical and movie "Gypsy", in fact  you'd probably be able to hear her on the other side of town! This song is a great song, written by Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim, and it's always done very typically "theatre" - 2 in the bar, a bit rumpy pumpy and of course that's how it was always done. Here's a half tempo swing feel in a Trio setting and it works a treat. Everything falls into place, it's just a different feel!
