Thanks for the kind words - much appreciated! I just don't have the time to do charts of my arrangements, and I get asked about it all the time.
I'm sure once you get to know one and other everything will fall into place! There's nothing to compare with working with good live musicians, and while the guys are maybe not as sympathetic as you'd like, it is all about learning as you go along too. It's not easy to accompany a good singer actually - some guys it comes naturally to and some guys have to work a bit harder at it.

I just wanted to send a note to let you know how much we appreciate your work.
We have previously worked with a live rhythm section.
It has become troublesome to find competent players, and here in the heart of oil country demand for live music has increased.
Recently when we were struggling to find personnel for the band and came up short for a gig I suggested your site to the leader. Not wanting to turn down a job, he reluctantly agreed to give the tracks a try.

Comments or Kudos: I have been using StandardsTrax for many years now and have purchased many tracks, covering a number of different genres all of which are of exceptional quality. So, I had no doubts when I recently engaged Alan to create a new theme tune for my act.
Starting with just a few pointers and a couple of ideas around a key and tempo, Alan perfectly captured the mood and feel I was looking for and created a number of edits, intros and outros in two different styles - a main theme and a slower theme.
This was all done very quickly over just a few days and I had plenty of opportunity to listen to the demos, comment and provide feedback.

I sang at the food festival at Blenheim Palace at the weekend and l used some of your new tracks including Flowers and Don’t Look Back in Anger and just wanted to let you know that lots of people came up and commented on the quality of the tracks and what great versions they were!
Over the years l have become very fussy about where l get my backing tracks from because l can’t stand the “plinky plonky” sound that most seem to have! Yours have always been great and l always forget to let you know!
Even the acoustic jazz band who were playing at Blenheim commented on the quality of my backing tracks, so l thought you should know that the professional sound and arrangements don’t go unnoticed

Comments or Kudos: Hi Alan, It's been a while since I've communicated with you. I am a Jazz vocalist and sax player. I just ordered ninety tracks and didn't want to pass up the opportunity to share a few things with you and thank you for the impact you've had on my career as an entertainer. I have been a customer for over two decades and have benefited in many ways musically and personally. Your love of this music is contagious. It has motivated me to pursue the knowledge and history of this music and share it with my audiences. They love it. I always get favorable comments for the insights and stories I share. Last year I got a few Piano tracks. I had mostly avoided them in the past. That decision was mostly out of ignorance as I recently discovered. At the right time and the right place those piano tracks are immensely impactful. They bring a sense of intimacy to a performance that I had not previously experienced. I can't wait to introduce these new ones this year. My audiences are always eager to hear what I going to do next because they know it will be fresh and new. I was doing a private party for a group of people who are involved in promoting the arts, in some cases nationally. The hosts have a number pieces of art work all over their home. He asked me to perform something special
and gathered all the guests to the main room. The guests included a woman who has performed internationally in many top venues and with top performers. With that setting in mind, I chose the song "A Portrait of Jennie". It was the perfect choice and you could hear a pin drop. That kind of experience has often been repeated. It's because of your vast catalog. A good friend has been able to attend a few of my summer patio performances at a local restaurant. He is a Steinway artist and has performed all over the world. I did a few of the piano tracks that evening and he was completely blown away. He said the accompaniment was incredible. There are many new backing track sites coming out constantly as more musicians are turning to them. I do use a few others for certain styles. But Standardstrax remains my main source for quality backing tracks. My comments here are just the tip of the iceberg of what I have been privileged to experience. Thank you. Stan

Alan has created a lot of trio backing tracks for me these last few years, me a tenor sax player, and they've all been excellent, several steps above anything else I've heard. His latest created track - I can't help it - S Wonder - is a terrific trio version of that Michael Jackson classic.
