I'm always doing custom work for singers or musicians looking for either a COPY replication or a track based on my own arrangment; but to their own specification.
Custom track pricing depends on what is involved so if it's a COPY replication of a song or arrangement then I do have to hear the track before I can give you a definite quote.

COPY replications start at 100 GB pounds and is priced on the work involved.

CUSTOM tracks based on my own arrangement but to your specification - you choose the key/s; instrumentation; feel; groove; tempo; whether you want a solo or not - as long as it's not a COPY version - start at 25 GB pounds and If it's a song I don't know then I'd have to have an mp3 sent to me to price it.

I always require half payment deposit and the balance on approval of lower spec full mp3 demos.

The custom price quoted for the above service does not include the license fee if you plan on recording.

All copy replications wil be resold on my website after 6 months and own arrangement customs will be resold after 3 months.

Licence Update - 2010

When you purchase a STANDARDSTRAX backing track, you are purchasing a licence for performances. This grants you the right to use the STANDARDSTRAX purchase during a public or private performance - ie gigging!
You may not reproduce or use a STANDARDSTRAX track for distribution of any kind; including web distribution.
STANDARDSTRAX purchases may not be used as part of a recording for sale or otherwise; played on websites - YOUTUBE; MYSPACE or any other promotional website or used in part or in total as background music within a distributed CD ; any media format or digital distribution.

If you wish to use a STANDARDSTRAX backing track as part of a recording  to be distributed or sold on CD ; digital distribution or any other media format you must obtain a hard copy distribution licence. The licence fee per song is VERY fair so please feel free to enquire. Most backing track suppliers either don't offer licencing or charge a ludicrous rate per song to deter customers. My licencing is honest and fair but please be aware that you also have Mechanical Copyright fees to pay to the publisher/s ; via MCPS (UK) ,HARRY FOX agency; BMI ; ASCAP (US),etc - whoever owns full song copyright. My licence is only to use MY track/s.
